In Zieleniec, the moment that we have all been waiting for for many weeks has finally arrived. Temperatures have dropped below zero, and that means only one thing: we could fire up our snow monsters. The first cannons went in full steam, covering the routes with white fluff and giving a signal that winter under Orlica was approaching in great steps. It is always a special moment — a little symbolic, a little technical, but above all full of emotions, because it heralds the imminent start of the season.
Forecasts are favorable for winter
Although we cannot yet give a specific start date for the winter in Zieleniec, the situation looks really great. The weather forecasts are on our side: the coming days are expected to bring stable temperatures below zero, and in some places even more solid frosts, which will allow us to snow intensively and continuously. It is this weather that gives us the greatest confidence that the winter landscape under Orlica will be more and more beautiful every day and more ready first in this season #szusowanko.
The microclimate of Zieleniec, as usual, does its job. While in other parts of the region there are still autumn moods, here you can already feel winter in the air — that characteristic freshness and freshness that has always been our ally. The combination of altitude, terrain and specific conditions means that winter often starts earlier and lasts longer.
The last moment to prepare the mold
It's also the perfect time to remind you of one thing: this is definitely the absolute last bell to dust off the equipment and get serious about preparing the mold. Winter doesn't wait for us to get our feet moving after autumn — so it's worth jumping on a stationary bike, running, stretching or just remembering what it's like to be constantly on the move. Your knees and calves will thank you for it at the first descent.
The last moment also applies to ski passes. The lower pass prices are still in effect (until the end of November), but that's really the end of the season before the season rates come in. If any of you are still wondering, it is worth turning that reflection into a decision - now it simply pays the most.
Winter is just around the corner
For now, we do not announce the official opening date of the season, but looking at what is happening on the slopes and in the forecasts, we can say one thing: everything looks very promising. The cannons are working, the temperatures are favorable, and we are doing everything we can to welcome you as soon as possible for your first winter ride.
The greenery already smells of winter. And if the weather holds its course, we will soon see you on the slope — as always with a smile, energy and that special atmosphere under Orlica. Prepare the equipment, take care of the mold and... keep your fingers crossed for the frost. Winter is really just around the corner.
