Christmas is a time when we especially appreciate closeness, peace and time spent together. If you add winter, frost and mountain landscape to this atmosphere - a recipe for a holiday is created that will be remembered for a long time. Everything indicates that this will be the case this year in Zieleniec.
Most importantly - the forecasts are very promising. Already from tonight (23/24 December), concrete frosts are returning to the mountains, which will allow launching snowmaking systems with cannons. This is a clear signal for us: conditions will improve dynamically, and the winter climate on the slopes will acquire much better quality.
Frosty Nights and Christmas Timetable
Low temperatures mean one thing — the possibility of intensive work of snow cannons. Thanks to this, the routes will be systematically strengthened and prepared for increased traffic during the festive period. The Greenhouse, which benefits from its unique microclimate, thus once again shows its best side (in these difficult weather times).
However, we care not only about the quality of the ride, but also about the festive rhythm of these days.
24 december (Christmas Eve) lifts and railways will be open until 16:00, so that everyone - guests and employees - can calmly prepare for the Christmas dinner.
From December 25 by the end of the week we invite you in full, winter mode — every day from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. This is the perfect opportunity for long, family days on the slopes, as well as evening rides in a unique, festive setting.
Free SKI Bus — more comfortable and safe on holidays
From 27 to 30 December there will be a free SKI Bus with a basket for sports equipment, which will significantly facilitate movement around Zieleniec during the most intense time of the season (it will be marked with a special white plaque with the inscription Zieleniec).
Route and stops:
• First stop Alaska,
• In front of Hotel Zieleniec (near the upper station of the M3 lift),
• Mieszko — at the entrance to the parking lot,
• Winterpol - in front of the pizzeria at the exit to the parking lot,
• Parking main bus stop (Gryglówka/Bartuś),
• Diamond — at the entrance to the parking lot by the wooden inn,
• Nartorama at SKI Bus Duszniki stops.
We encourage you to leave your car in the parking lot in front of Hotel Zieleniec, from where it will be possible to reach the lifts without problems and convenience. This solution was introduced specifically for the Christmas and New Year period in order to relieve traffic on the provincial road and improve the comfort and safety of all guests.
In addition, a special ski bus from Lasówka is also launched (from 25 December until 1 March), the route and schedule of which are as follows:
- Lasówka na Bordericzu: 8:42 - 13:42 - 17:42
- Lasówka Church: 8:43 - 13:43 - 17:43
- Lasówka White Road Crossroads: 8:44 - 13:44 - 17:44
- Lasówka near the road between Orlica and Jagodowy cottages: 8:46 - 13:46 - 17:46
Return from Zieleniec to Lasówka:
- Upper car park: 12:00 - 17:30 - 20:30
- Winterpol: 12:02 - 17:32 - 20:32
- Main car park: 12:03 - 17:33 - 20:33
- Narratorama: 12:04 - 17:34 - 20:34
Travel on the route Lasówka - Zieleniec or Zieleniec lasówka costs 10 PLN per person.
Family holidays
Zieleniec is not only about skiing and hiking. It is also joint walks among snowy cottages, the first turns of the children, warm tea after the ride and evenings spent together - without haste, in a truly winter setting. It is a place where the holidays have their natural rhythm and the mountains become the backdrop for family memories.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in the traditional Shepherdswhich will take place in the church St. Anne's Day at 23:00. Whereas in December 25 and 26 services will be held at 12:00.
