Every year the Eagle Cup attracts many enthusiasts, especially large turnout can be seen in competitions held during the winter holidays. The Eagle Cup brings a lot of emotions, great fun with a touch of sports competition, which is gaining strength every year.

Ski competitions in Zieleniec — how did it start?
The first competitions as part of the Eagle Cup were held 30 years ago on the initiative of the Wrocław Academy of Physical Education and the Union of Christian Male Youth. Until the 2012/2013 season, the slalom route was set on the slopes of Mieszko, then until today the fights take place on the Winterpol slope at the W5 lift. A series of sports competitions was organized to promote skiing among young people and improve their skills.
Although now it seems impossible, even in the 90s commercial training or ski schools practically did not exist. The learning of this winter sport could be obtained through the AWF or with the support of workplaces. In response to the great needs and growing interest in snow madness in Zieleniec in 1992, a T&T ski school was established, which allowed to acquire skills for a wider group of interested parties.
Second year with a new competition formula!
From the 2022/2023 season, players will compete in the competition at Eagle Cup, and not so far Children's Eagle Cup. Where did this change come from? First of all, we wanted to emphasize that the competitions are not aimed exclusively at children. Our goal is to activate all young people who want to discover and improve their skiing skills. The renewal of the name was also accompanied by the desire to make them even better and with greater attendance every year.
It is worth emphasizing that the first two editions of the event were held under the banner of the Eagle Cup. The name was modified in the 1996/1997 season, so we can say that the series has returned to its roots. What else has changed? The organizers also decided to introduce the division of the contestants into the most numerous groups - dwarves, elder dwarves and elves. So skiers start separately in a group of boys and girls. However, that's not all!
