The last few days have brought a lot of challenges. The aura was able to surprise, and the short-term collapse of the weather set us specific operational tasks ahead. But the most important thing is one thing: the situation has been brought under control, the slopes are maintained, and Zieleniec clearly comes out on the straight. What's more, everything seems to indicate that the best is yet to come.
Winter has not yet said the last word. After the challenging start of December, the situation in Zieleniec is stabilizing, and the forecasts for the coming days give real grounds for optimism. Intense snowfall, improving conditions and a clear plan for the festive season mean that we enter the crucial moment of the season with a lot of confidence.
Snow and cannon factory in action
Although the weather did not spoil for a moment, our technical facilities once again made a difference. Accordingly, the snow produced earlier allowed us to keep the tracks in good condition, and the last two nights brought something even better - the temperatures dropped enough that we were able to start the snow cannons again.
Combined with snow factories and increasingly stable thermal conditions, this means one thing: we systematically rebuild the snow base and consistently improve the quality of the routes. We are entering a stage where we can not only maintain, but realistically strengthen the driving conditions.
Forecasts that really please
Forecasts for the coming days are very promising. Temperatures are conducive to snowfall, and this is a clear signal for us to act. We will use every weather window — no half-measures. We plan intensive work of cannons and further strengthening of the snow cover.
Effect? For the holidays, we expect a clear improvement in ski conditions and the launch of further lifts. Zieleniec traditionally does everything to ensure the best possible driving conditions at the crucial moment of the season.
December 19 — the last day of the low season
It is worth emphasizing this clearly: December 19 is the last day of the low season. From Saturday, December 20, we enter a full, festive and winter rhythm of work.
From that day on, Zieleniec Sport Arena will be open daily from 9:00 to 20:00. The only exception is Christmas Eve (24 December), when the railways and lifts will work until 4pm — exactly so that everyone can combine the morning ride with festive preparations.
Christmas skiing? Of course, yes
You often ask about Christmas days, so we dispel all doubts: on December 25 and 26 we drive normally, from 9:00 to 20:00. No shortcuts, no restrictions — a full winter ride under Orlica.
Naturally, all this time there will be a full accompanying infrastructure: gastronomy, ski schools and equipment rental. Whether you're planning a family holiday on the move or just want to break out for a few hours on the slopes — everything will work as it should.
Christmas Prelude in Zieleniec
We are entering one of the most important moments of the season. Conditions are improving, forecasts are favorable, and Greenhouse is consistently building form for the holidays. If we add to this the unique microclimate and winter atmosphere of the Orlice Mountains, there is hardly a better place to start the festive season.
Welcome to Zieleniec — busy days ahead, long evening rides and real winter games.
