Weather conditions in recent days are not among the easiest. Temperatures remain above the norm for early December, and the aura is dynamically changing. Despite this, Zieleniec Sport Arena remains in full readiness and works every day for all lovers of white madness.
Warm air masses are not an easy challenge for the ski industry this season. Especially now, when in many regions of Poland stations limit their activities or decide to temporarily close. In Zieleniec, thanks to the previous preparations and the intensive work of the teams, the conditions on the tracks are still good for such a demanding aura. There is enough snow on the open slopes to ride comfortably and safely - both skiing and snowboarding.
Snow factory — the key to stable routes
It is the advanced snowmaking systems and the so-called snow factory that make Zieleniec able to maintain the passability of the main routes, even when the weather is not favorable in winter. The snow produced earlier allows us to protect key sections, and the underlay layer is solid enough to bravely withstand warming and periodic rainfall.
Thanks to this, Zieleniec remains one of the few centers in the country that can still operate. This is a great advantage of the region and the result of a long-term strategy of investing in modern technologies and preparing the slopes even before the start of the season.
We drive every day — and longer at the weekend
Despite the difficult conditions, all operating railways operate on a daily basis. This weekend we invite you from 9:00 to 20:00 according to the schedule below. From Monday, there will be a change in the work schedule of the railway. The exact schedule will be announced soon so that everyone can plan their arrival well in advance.
Although the weather this winter sets the bar high from the beginning, the Zieleniec Sport Arena is still operating, proving that proper preparation, modern technology and unique terrain conditions can really do a lot.
