From the text you will learn:
- Why the Villa Diana fire affected the entire community of Zieleniec and Stronia Śląski
- Who are Diana's hosts and why the place was so special
- How you can help rebuild Villa Diana
On June 10, 2025, a tragedy occurred in Stronie Śląski, which touched not only the local community, but also everyone who has ever visited Villa Diana. The fire completely destroyed a place that for many was a second home — full of warmth, kindness and memories. Villa Diana is not just a building — it's the people, emotions and stories that have been created here over the years.
The Popowicz family, the hosts of Diana, whom you know from Zieleniec from the Diament resort, built this guest house with heart and passion. Their hospitality, smile and devotion created a space to which one would return with joy. Today, faced with a huge loss, they do not know if they will have the strength and means to rebuild everything. Investigations are ongoing and Willa's fate still remains uncertain.
Solidarity with Diana — the Zieleniec community supports
Although Willa Diana is located in Stronie Śląski, its history also resonates in Zieleniec. The community gathered around this mountain town — hikers, skiers, bike enthusiasts and all those for whom the Sudetenland is a second home — sends words of encouragement and support. We are united by love for the mountains, kindness and the conviction that in difficult moments it is necessary to be together. Zieleniec and Stronie Śląskie are two close worlds that support each other. That is why today, in a gesture of solidarity, we encourage you to support the fundraising for the Popowicz family and Villa Diana. Every penny, every share, every good word matters. Together we can help not only to cover losses and liabilities, but also — perhaps — to rebuild a place that for many of us was a symbol of rest, peace and home warmth.
Fundraising Continues — Join the Help
Funds from the official, verified collection will be used, among others, to secure the wreck, payments to employees, cover liabilities and — if possible — attempt to return the Villa in any form.
