Why is the Eagle Cup such an important event in Zieleniec? Today briefly about the purpose and mission of the entire project.
Ski competitions for children are an excellent way to combine physical activity, sports competition and great fun. Regular exercise in the fresh air strengthens immunity, improves fitness, and develops coordination and balance. Sport in the natural environment of the mountains not only brings health benefits, but also teaches children healthy competition, perseverance and self-discipline.Apart from the physical aspect, participation in competitions is above all great fun and unforgettable experiences.
Children learn to deal with emotions, derive satisfaction from progress, and make new friendships. Joint downhill runs and a sporty atmosphere make any competition a celebration of movement and positive emotions.Skiing is also an ideal way to spend your free time actively in the company of family and peers. In the age of ubiquitous screens, it is worth showing the little ones how much joy sports and movement in the fresh air can give. Such experiences remain with them for life, forming healthy habits and a love of physical activity.That is why we have been organizing our competitions under Orlica for 30 years. Age categories and competition formula
In this year's edition, competitors compete in the following age categories:Skiing:
- Smurfs: vintage 2019 and younger
- Gnomes: yearbook 2017-2018
- Dwarfs (girls): year 2015-2016
- Dwarfs (boys): year 2015-2016
- Older Dwarfs (girls): year 2012-2014
- Older Dwarfs (boys): year 2012-2014
- Elves (girls): year 2009-2011
- Elves (boys): year 2009-2011
- Öppna: year 2008 and older
Snowboard:
- Pandas: vintage 2019 and younger
- Kangaroos: yearbook 2016-2018
- Tigers: yearbook 2013-2015
- Lions: year 2010-2012
- Eagles: year 2007-2009
- Falcons: year 2006 and older
The competition will take place on the Winterpol W5 slope at Vital & SPA Resort Szarotka, where participants will compete in a giant slalom. The start of the first contestant is scheduled for 11:30.
Submissions
To participate in the competition, you must apply by e-mail to marcin@tandt.pl up to two days before the competition or in person on the day of the event from 9:30 to 11:00 at the competition secretariat, located in the building of Vital & SPA Resort Szarotka. Please fill in and sign the necessary documents in advance, available on the official website of the competition.
Summary of the 1st Round
The first round of the Eagle Cup, which took place on January 19, 2025, attracted nearly 100 skiers and 30 snowboarders. The competition took place in an atmosphere of sports competition and great fun. You will find the results at this link.
